People in Need (PIN) is an independent, non-profit NGO based in Prague established in 1992 that has grown to be one of the largest NGOs in Central and Eastern Europe.  PIN works in three areas: emergency relief, humanitarian and development aid; democracy assistance, human rights, independent media; and minority rights.  It is an international organization that has worked in over 40 countries around the world. For more than a decade, PIN is the organizer of One World, one of the largest human rights documentary festivals in Europe.
